HARVEST COLLECTION \u2013 Thank You<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to all who contributed to the harvest collection for \u2018Somewhere To Go\u2019 and \u2018Weston Food Bank\u2019 we were pleased to be able to hand over five boxes to each of these fantastic causes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING \u2013 Thank You<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another thank you to all who supported our Macmillan coffee morning which raised \u00a350 for Macmillan Cancer Care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW STOCK ARRIVES<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has again been an exciting month for us with new stock arriving almost daily, including Christmas cards, books, CD\u2019s, DVD\u2019s and gifts. We now also have \u2018Life\u2019 Gift vouchers available, redeemable in store. We are still able to take your orders for anything we don\u2019t have in stock (subject to availability).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember we are able to post your orders to you at a small extra cost if you find it difficult to get into the shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WOULD YOU LIKE A VISIT FROM LIFE?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to be able to come along and visit with you at your church, to talk about the ministry at Life. Who comes? What happens? Why? Feel free to call or email to arrange for one of the team to visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT\u2019S ON IN YOUR CHURCH?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would love to hear from you, what\u2019s on in your church, so that we can advertise special events and regular services within the shop. We often have people ask us for local church information, for example where they can find an Alpha course, or if they\u2019re holidaying here, where they can find a local church which suits them. We would love to be able to point people in the direction of your church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIFE GOES ON THE ROAD<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you based out of town? Do you run any children\u2019s, young people\u2019s clubs, Toddler group, Pre-school, Ladies or Gents fellowships, coffee mornings?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for venues to take life on the road. We want to be able to offer a service to churches, both in Weston and further afield where we could visit your coffee morning or church group with a box of books, cards etc which would be available to browse and place orders over a cup of coffee or tea, then we can drop or post your orders to you when they come in. If your church or group would be interested in this service please get in touch and we will arrange a convenient time to visit. (Contact details on the front of this news sheet)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER MEETING AT LIFE THURSDAY 20TH<\/sup> OCTOBER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are working in conjunction with Weston-super-Prayer & Praise\/Churches Together to hold a prayer meeting in the shop every other month in between the Weston-super-Prayer dates. The first of these will be on Thursday 20th<\/sup> October2011 at 7.30pm. We look forward to seeing you then (and hopefully before then during shop hours!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAMILY CRAFT WORKSHOPS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also holding three Family Craft Workshops at \u2018Life\u2019<\/strong>, in the run up to Christmas, with local artist Sandie Skyrme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glass Painted Tea light holders - Saturday 22nd<\/sup> October from 2-4pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silk painted Christmas cards - Saturday 19th<\/sup> November<\/strong> from 2-4pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make your own Bath Bombs - Saturday 4th<\/sup> December from 2-4pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any of these make great little Christmas gifts for family, friends or teachers! Please just let us know if you intend coming so that we can be sure to have enough equipment\/ingredients for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHILDREN\u2019S BOOK CLUB<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first book club \u2018The Children\u2019s Book Club\u2019 begins on Saturday 29th<\/sup> October<\/strong> at 11am. <\/strong>There will be a story and a linked activity for accompanied children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Book club Members will receive a Membership card entitling them to 10% discount on book and Bible purchases in \u2018Life\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOSPEL CENTRED FAMILY STUDY GROUP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Begins on Friday 4th<\/sup> November 2011 at 11am.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring a packed lunch, tea\/coffee provided<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
